Rural Entrepreneurial Ventures (REV)
The Rural Entrepreneurial Ventures (REV) is a proven entrepreneurial development program that helps rural communities create more vibrant economies by finding and supporting local entrepreneurs – from business startups to existing businesses that want to grow. REV provides coaching, resources and connections throughout the visioning and implementation process as each community explores what economic development means for their town.
After a competitive application process, the following communities were selected for the 2024 – 2026 REV cohort:
- Caledonia
- Kasson
- Plainview
- Collectively the communities of Gibbon, Fairfax and Winthrop
Each community has developed a leadership team and has been matched with a coach to guide them through goal setting and action steps. They will also participate in cohort learning with other REV communities.
